State owner Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) is likely to post increased earnings in its current financial year.
The Niti Central website cited shipping minister Nitin Gadkari as saying: “I am told by the chairman and managing director that SCI will report a profit of INR 4.5bn ($66.4m) this fiscal.”
The company reported earnings of INR 3.25bn in the first half of the year.
