German shipping group Carsten Rehder has re-entered the multipurpose (MPP) sector.
The Hamburg-based firm has taken over the management of the 17,355-dwt BBC Rhine and BBC Thames (both built 2008).
At the same time, it is continuing to scale back its containership fleet with the $28m sale of two sub-panamax boxships.
