One in, one out for Shreyas

India’s Shreyas Shipping & Logistics is offloading a veteran boxship a week after agreeing to expand its fleet.

A deal has been signed to sell the 1,050-teu SSL Trust (built 1992) to an unnamed buyer, the company said.

It is bringing in a 2,500-teu replacement by the end of February.This unit will be deployed along the Indian coast.

Last year, chief executive VK Singh told TradeWinds the owner was looking to add two vessels over the coming months.
