A Carnival cruiseship was involved in a rescue mission off the US over the weekend after a passenger fell onboard.
The US Coastguard rushed to the aid of the man who suffered unspecified injuries onboard the 1,258-berth Ryndam on Saturday.
Medical staff onboard the 1994-built vessel contacted coastguards in St Petersburg, Florida in the late afternoon to say the man was in need of medical evacuation for further treatment.
