NYK Line has made negative start to the new fiscal year with a loss of JPY 4.5bn ($40.5m) as the costs of terminating its containership business took its toll.
Revenue declined by 11% year-on-year to JPY 464.8bn due in part to the fact that revenues of Ocean Network Express (ONE), which is accounted for by the equity method, are no longer included.
