Norwegian Car Carriers (NOCC) has got off to shaky start with a loss through the first quarter since the launch of the company.
NOCC incurred a third quarter net deficit of NOK 29.7m ($4.8m) despite management seeing the depressed car carrier market moving positively.
The company created by Eidsiva Rederi’s takeover in June of the car carrier activities of Dyvi Shipping was hit by seasonally lower cargo volumes and the cost of reactivating two vessels from cold lay up.
