In a statement the New York-quoted company, which is based in Monaco, said it purchased the 13,100-teu MSC Cristina (built 2011) for $147.8m.
The partnership also pointed out that the vessel, which is scheduled to change hands next month, has been chartered to what it described as a “high quality counterparty”.
