Navigare Capital Partners is making its first move in the boxship sector with a trio of neo-panamax containerships estimated to be worth in excess of $200m.
The Danish fund has quietly picked up three 10,000-teu vessels formerly owned or ordered by Greek owners as it starts to diversify its fleet of tankers and bulkers, managing partner Henrik Ramskov confirms.
Its first containership acquisition includes a 10,000-teu newbuilding resale to be delivered from Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding in China early next year.
