Oslo-listed MPC Container Ships (MPCC) has declared options to retrofit five more scrubbers to its fleet.
Earlier this month MPCC said it had agreed to fit an initial five scrubbers, with options for 50 more.
On Friday it also announced that six of these 10 retrofitted ships have been chartered out following the work, with deals lasting into 2022.
"The agreements are concluded at favourable rates and are expected to yield attractive returns for the company," it said.
