Maersk Oil Trading has made a move into the Singapore bunkering sector by leasing oil storage space there.
Reuters cited sources as saying 120,000 cbm has been secured for fuel oil for six months.
A company spokesperson told TradeWinds: "We can confirm that we have taken storage at Tankstore in Singapore.
"As the parties have agreed to keep the agreement confidential, we cannot comment specifically on the use of the facility nor the duration of the agreement."
