AP Moller-Maersk is exploring the possibility of offering new services in its effort to drive revenue growth, according to its boss.

Chief executive Soren Skou was quoted by Finans as telling a PwC conference that new products will be tied to digitalisation of the transport business.

The Danish conglomerate has very publicly backed moves towards digitalisation over the past six months.

Its digital ambitions were revealed after the company unveiled its restructuring plan last year on the back of a depressed freight market.
