Former Containerships boss Kari-Pekka Laaksonen has re-emerged in shipping as the CEO of rival Samskip.
The container line said the Finn will be group CEO with a brief to lead its customer-focused logistics strategy.
Laaksonen joins on 1 August in the Rotterdam head office.
He resigned from Finland's Containerships in March, nine months after its takeover by French giant CMA CGM.
