Iran is working with new container lines thanks to incentives after the US reimposed sanctions earlier this year.
The deputy head for ports and economic affairs at Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) told IRIB that the country’s support packages had brought new owners to the table.
“New support packages have been provided for foreign shipping companies and that made several new foreign companies express readiness to work with us,” IRIB cited Mohammad-Ali Hassanzadeh-Mohammadi as saying.
