South Korean containership operator Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) has delayed floating its tender for a huge haul of up to 20 newbuildings until the middle of this year.
Shipyards had been expecting to receive specification details for 12 supersize boxships of about 23,000 teu and a further eight containerships of between 14,000 teu and 15,000 teu — including optional berths for both sizes — by the end of this month.
