Hyundai Heavy Industries has confirmed huge orders for up to 10 boxships but has remained mum on much of the detail.
TradeWinds reported recently that Germany’s Bernhard Schulte and the Ofer family of Israel were behind orders at the Korean shipbuilder for six firm units and four options.
HHI confirmed on Tuesday in a regulatory filing that it has received firm orders for six containerships with a further four options but refused to identify and buyer or buyers.
