German container line Hapag-Lloyd has suspended its AES loop to the US in the market downturn.
The last sailings on the Atlantic Express Shuttle route will be on 17 July westbound from Hamburg and 27 July from New York.
It said the link would be halted until further notice.
“Whenever the market situation improves sufficiently, it is our intention to recommence this service,” it added.
