South Korean major shipowner Hanjin Shipping has reported a loss of KRW 85.9bn ($77m) for the third quarter.
This compares with a profit of KRW252.1bn for the same period of 2010.
Hanjin suffered a net loss of KRW 414.6bn for the first six months of the year as it blamed the heavy cost of fuel for its woes.
In August the company predicted a better third quarter as it expected demand to grow and costs to be cut.
