Hanjin Shipping vessels are to be directed to specified ports in Asia, Europe and the US where containers can be unloaded without the fear of vessel arrest.
Singapore, Hamburg and Los Angeles have been selected, reports the Yonhap news agency, quoting a South Korean government task force on the Hanjin-related logistics crisis.
The task force says that out of Hanjin’s 97 containerships only 36 are operating normally with the remaining 61 disrupted.
