Spot market freight rates at the lowest level for seven years have led to a third quarter loss of $8.9m for Green Reefers.
The result is however better than the second quarter and the comparable period of last year when the loss was $11m and $11.4m respectively.
The company however cautions that the figures are not comparable with 2010 as changed pool arrangements have changed the reporting principle.
