Briese Schiffahrt and Harren & Partner onTuesday announced the formation of a pool that will be operated by theirrespective affreightment affiliates, BBC Chartering and Combi Lift.
In a statement the German operators saidthey will contribute 15 of their own ships to BHS Pool Weser-Ems in total butsaid other owners will be invited to join at some point in the future.
“All involved vessels can expect to seehigher profits as the freighters are concentrating on their respective corecompetencies,” added Briese CEO Roelf Briese.
