Norwegian shipping group Fred Olsen's holding companies Bonheur and Ganger Rolf are merging to increase efficiency.
Bonheur has 62.66% of its sister operation and will maintain its Oslo listing.
Ganger Rolf shareholders will receive 0.8174 Bonheur shares for every one they own, equalling 23.95% of the new company.
"The boards consider that the merger will assist in providing a more transparent and accessible corporate structure which may yield capital and operational efficiencies," the companies said.
