Finland's government has voiced concern over a sudden rise in the number of vessel inspections carried out by Russia.
It said this is causing delays for shipowners, according to Reuters.
Over the last two weeks, there have been seven checks on Finnish ships at Russian terminals, with no reason given.
There are only a few per year, usually, transport and communications minister Anne Berner said.
