Evergreen and CoscoCS are each providing an extra vessel to meet increasing demand on a run from Asia to East Africa.
The AEF service is getting another two boxships to add to the current five, bringing the average capacity to 4,200 teu.
Evergreen already operates three, CoscoCS one and X-Press feeders another.
The service rotation is seven weeks.
Calls include Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Kenya.
