Germany’s EMS-Fehn-Group has begun a project to ship 130,000 tons of pipes to Albania.
The shipowner will make 13 voyages from Brake in Germany to the port of Durres, lasting into 2017.
It said the work is for the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP). A third cargo has already arrived.
The pipes are between 12 and 15 metres long, with a diameter of 1.2m.
