Capital Product Partners has agreed on a 20% charter cut with Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) for five containerships hired by the South Korean owner.
The Evangelos Marinakis-backed company will receive $23,480 per day for the boxship quintet, instead of $29,350 for a period of three years until December 2019.
This deal sheds more light on a wider charter-cut deal that HMM announced in June with several owners.
