Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has seen profit hammered by growing expenses in the third quarter.
It said net earnings to 31 December were INR 72.5m ($1.08m), from INR 1.41bn a year ago.
Revenue was down slightly at INR 9.81bn, from INR 9.9bn, but costs jumped to INR 9.18bn from INR 7.79bn previously.
Bunkers, repairs and maintenance, charter hire and wages all rose during the period.
