The deep sea shipping arm of Swire Group snapped up the Auckland-basedowner of two coastal containerships from Skeggs Group for an undisclosed fee,it announced today.
Swire Shipping, CNCo’s liner shipping arm, currentlyoperates five independent multi-purpose services from New Zealand to Asia, Australia,North America and the Pacific Islands.
Brodie Stevens, country manager CNCo (New Zealand) said: “Wewill be increasing our investment in New Zealand’s shipping and logisticsindustry.”
