In a statement the carrier said the addition of Nhava Sheva to the Swahili loop reflects what it described as “new opportunities” in this market.
The company, which is based in Marseilles, plans to devote seven containerships with individual carrying capacities of 2,800-teu to the service.
In addition to Nhava Sheva the Swahili loop will include calls at Jebel Ali, Khor Fakkan, Mombasa, Dar Es Salaam, Zanzibar and Nacala.
