CMA CGM has delayed three containership newbuildings that had been scheduled for delivery this year.
The liner operator revealed the pushback as it announced a leap in fourth-quarter earnings and a stronger outlook for 2017.
The French company did not reveal which ships in its orderbook are impacted by the delays, which will see the trio delivered in 2018.

According to Clarksons, CMA CGM has 17 containerships on order at shipyards in South Korea, China and the Philippines in addition to its operated fleet of 453 vessels.
