CMA CGM on Tuesday confirmed theappointment of Dominique Bussereau, former French Secretary of State forTransport, Paris Transport Authority (RAPT) president Pierre Mongin and JihadAzour, who served as Lebanon’s Minster of Finance from 2005 through 2008.

The trio are due to join chairman andCEO Jacques Saade, Rodolphe Saade, Tanya Saade Zeenny and Yildirim Groupdirectors Robert Yuskel Yildirim, Evren Ozturk and Ercument Erdem at the startof September, a statement adds.

CMA CGM veteran Tristan Vieljeux, Denis Ranque and ChristianGarin, former president of the Port of Marseille and the union of Frenchshipowners, are expected to step down at the same time, according to localmedia reports.

The new additions precede the carrier’ssecond quarter earnings release and a conference call with investors who areanxiously awaiting an update about whether the group intends to accept another $250minjection from the Yildirim Group or a lifeline from French sovereignwealth fund Fonds Strategique d’Investissement (FSI).
