Newly expanded CMA CGM has launched a new line designed for Ecuadorian banana exports, starting this week.
The French owner said its new Med Gulf Ecuador (MGE) service will offer a direct connection between the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador.
With the new service, Ecuador will be linked to Malta in 19 days, CMA CGM said.
