A charter deal for a panamax containership at nearly three times the previous rate has given a boost to the second quarter performance of Rickmers Maritime.
Net profit for the second quarter rose to $8.55m, compared to $0.61m for the comparable period of 2010, but down on the $9.33m of the first quarter.
