The Bunnemann family has bought its fifth boxship this year.
The family’s Singapore-run Asiatic Lloyd and Hamburg-based Atlantic Lloyd operations have picked up two more traditional panamax and two sub-panamax boxships, Atlantic Lloyd managing director Nicolaus Bunnemann confirmed.
The 4,256-teu Lena-S (built 2010) and Rudolf Schepers (built 2009) have been acquired from Reederei Rudolf Schepers for an undisclosed price and are in the process of being delivered.
