A German containership has been damaged in a collision with a tug off France.
The NordLittoral website said Dover search and rescue authorities reported to their French counterparts that an accident had taken place 30 miles from Dunkirk on 19 July.
The incident involved the 804-teu Samskip Courier (built 2006) and the 300-dwt MTS Viscount (built 1977).
Viscount was pulling floating pipes from Rotterdam to Arzew.
