France’s Bollore Group has denied working with an under-investigation Spanish company to win port concessions in Africa.
The company told the Financial Times that Barcelona-based Pefaco Group and its executives were “completely unknown” to it.
French daily Le Monde said French authorities have searched Bollore’s headquarters as part of a probe into the awarding of terminal deals for Conakry and Lome in west Africa.
