Blockchain is the strongest defence against digital networks being infiltrated by hackers, according to a leading source on the relatively young technology.
“It’s better than anything heretofore,” said Stephen Rogers, vice president of blockchain technology at IBM.
Speaking on a technology roundtable at the Hellenic/Norwegian-American Chambers of Commerce’s Shipping Conference, Rogers says of blockchain "it’s stronger than everything else."
IBM, of course, is working with Maersk to commercialize the technology.
