CMA CGM has bought its fourth feeder containership in less than a year.
It is understood to have acquired the 1,350-teu Magari (built 2007) from Germany’s Schiffahrtskontor Tom Worden for just over $9m — one of four feeder boxships the French operator has bought in recent months, in what looks like a hedge against rising charter rates and asset values.
