According to a report published by YoungBrothers, a leading local operator of tugs and barges, volumes between thestate capital and six regional ports increased by approximately 4.0% in thefirst-quarter of 2014.
“While this appears tobe a solid start to 2014, 2013 started out with a 3.9% drop so we are cautiousin our interpretation of first quarter results because 2014 is only back tofirst quarter of 2012 volumes,” said president Glenn Hong.
