Dutch owner Royal Boskalis Westminster has strengthened its subsea division in a deal with bondholders of two large former Harkand diving support vessels.
It has bought the 115-metre Atlantis (built 2011) for approximately $60m and has signed a three-year bareboat charter for the sister vessel Da Vinci.
This comes with a right of first refusal in the event of a sale, it said.
