Dubai-based Blue Lines Shipping (BLS) continues to trim its tanker fleet and has sold an aframax tanker to Avin International of Greece.
Sources say the Sasebo-built 85,000-dwt BLS Ability (built 2002) was sold for $9m which is largely in line with expectations. BLS officials were not immediately available for comment.
The company still has a sistership. BLS Advance (built 2002).
