Greek gas carrier owner Benelux Overseas wants to expand its fledgling presence in the product tanker sector, a senior company manager has told TradeWinds.
Benelux diversified from its traditional gas carrier business for the first time in more than a decade late last year.
The Kostas Angelou-led company did so by buying the 45,900-dwt MR tanker Orient Sunshine (built 2008), reportedly for around $15m, before renaming it Aramis.
