Rumours of an aframax sale by major Greek owner John Angelicoussis sent the pulses of some shipbrokers racing in the typically quiet Christmas period.
TradeWinds, however, understands that the ship in question is not on the S&P market at all.
According to some reports emerging throughout December, Angelicoussis company Maran Tankers has agreed to sell the 105,300-dwt Maran Saggita (built 2009) to unidentified Greek owners at an undisclosed price.
