Pirate suspects caught red handed dumping weapons overboard their skiff have been captured by the Royal Danish Navy in the Gulf of Aden on Friday.
It took a clean shot through the bow of the skiff for the suspects to give themselves up following the armed chase in the Internationally Recognised Transit Corridor (IRTC), NATO said.
The seven suspects were first spotted in the waterway by a Japanese maritime patrol aircraft which notified the Danish warship Esbern Snare.
