Guatemala’s soccer federation chief was arrested onboard a Disney Cruise Lines ship as part of the sweeping investigation against the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
Hector Trujillo, 62, was among 16 former or current members of the FIFA executive committee indicted Thursday for racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering conspiracies.
Trujillo, who is also a judge on the Constitutional Court of Guatemala, was on a cruise arriving at Florida’s Port Canaveral with his grandchildren, broadcaster Local 10 reports.
