Each unit measures 57.6 metres long, 10 metres wide, 30.2 metres high and weighs a whopping 3,100 tonnes on average.
They were delivered from Trieste, Italy by STX Pan Ocean's 22,500-gt STX Sun Rise (built 2012) and will be installed in the middle chamber of the new locks on the Atlantic side.
