Evangelos Marinakis is reported to be closing in on a deal to invest in struggling English football club Nottingham Forest.
The Greek shipowner is said to have recently held discussions with the chairman of the East Midlands club, Kuwaiti businessman Fawaz Al Hasawi.
Marinakis already controls top Greek football club Olympiacos, which has recently secured the Greek league title by a record margin.
