AP Moller-Maersk is teaming up with three of the world’s largest logistics companies to help fight food shortages.
The Danish containership owner is now the fourth member of the Logistics Emergency Teams, a body which operates on behalf of the UN’s World Food Programme.
Together with delivery giants UPS, TNT and Switzerland-headquartered Agility, Maersk will be lending its transportation and logistics knowhow in the wake of global disasters.
