Japanese owner K Line is expanding its Philippines training centre for crew.
Phase two will see a new 11-storey building constructed in Pasay at the K Line Maritime Academy Philippines (KLMA Phils).
The centre will accommodate 225 people and house a clinic for seafarers.
The work will be completed in January, 2018.
K Line said it was "optimistic that the years ahead will offer many opportunities to improve lives of Filipino seafarers and their families as we work hand in hand to achieve our common goal to provide reliable shipping services to our customers worldwide."
