Giorgos Spanos, who also controls the Greekfootball club Atromitos, was one of nearly a dozen suspects who were arrestedby police late last week and are now awaiting trial in Athens, according tolocal media reports.
During testimony taken over the weekend the 44-year-oldand his legal team denied the charges filed against him but the executive stilllanded in detention, according to Ekathimerini.com and other Hellenic news outlets.
