German operator EMS Chartering has been taking on an interesting challenge in shipping seven wind turbines to the UK.
The equipment is being hoisted about 80 metres from two vessels over a dyke using a special crane in the River Crouch in Essex.
EMS is using shallow-draft ships owned by NTO Shipping and Fehn Ship Management.
